In today's world, technology, science, medicine, industry, and a number of other fields are developing rapidly. In the past, people used more primitive methods, such as newspapers and letters, to get information. People in the 2000s, with the development of smartphones, can easily access people and news from different parts of the world whenever they want. As social networks grew and evolved, distances became an easily bridged reality for us.
As times changed, so did humans and their emotions. The human body has a unique functionality. Just as we are amazed when we learn about the infinite and beautiful universe, the existence of stars, and information about black holes, we have failed to realize a truth that is often not told to us: Man is, in fact, a small model of the universe.
What is above is also within us. Perhaps the black holes within us are our disappointments, our collapses, and our ruins. But without destruction, there can be no renewal. The best version of a person sometimes emerges when they begin to reinvent themselves.
But what about the brain?
What part of this process is it?
Is it the destructive force that creates the collapse, or the intelligent tool that helps rebuild?
In the modern world, the flow of information is countless. Throughout the day, we are surrounded by a mix of true and false information. While people are dying in a war in one part of the world, new people are being born in another. Every piece of news we receive is transmitted to our entire being through the waves in our brain.
When a person is panicked and anxious, the brain is in a high beta wave (20-30 Hz). I'm sure our readers are at least somewhat aware of the damage that stress, panic, and worry do to the body. As I've mentioned, it's easier to get information and knowledge these days.
Now, I want to tell you a little about the magical nature of the brain.
What do animals do in the wild when they sense danger? Your thoughts are very valuable to us. You probably thought of rabbits, mice, and similar animals. Yes, they run and hide in places where they feel safer.
What about us humans?
How does daily stress and worry affect our system?
First, the brain analyzes the situation and triggers danger signals. The brain communicates to the body through brainwaves that it is in danger. There is a magnificent system within us. All the cells mobilize to protect you. This is why you sometimes feel tired and want to stop and rest.
Yes, you also retreat to places where you feel safe.
So what should you do in that moment?
It doesn't matter where or when. Open the app on your phone and touch your body with your hands. Use the breathing technique in the app and repeat this sentence:
“I am safe.”
Repeat this sentence a few times and focus on your breath. Over time, you will feel yourself calm down. You are safe now. To relax even more, drink a glass of water.
No stress is forever, and you are safe at any moment. For many people with depression, their brain holds them in a state of protection due to past traumas. This magic sentence, however, can be the key to many doors:
“I am always safe.”
This causes the brain to shift from a high beta wave to an alpha wave. With the right breathing technique, you can witness this change.
In fact, you don't yet fully know what a powerful wizard you are. And we are the magic wand for this special wizard. For every wizard, the right wand is very important.
Harry Potter – from “The Sorcerer's Stone”:
“The wand chooses the wizard.”
Dear reader, you took a step toward us, and we have chosen you.
